My journey to become a Massage Therapist started after my mother was diagnosed with cancer. As a treatment side effect, she began to retain water, creating constant joint pain. Her doctor showed me a simple massage technique I could use to help ease her suffering. I realized then how I can use my hands to help others with their pain and healing process. My mother always believed in me and encouraged me to follow my dreams. It is because of her that my journey began.
During this time, my sister was also struggling with infertility. Doctors told her she could never get pregnant. At this time, I did not have tools to help her, but her struggles inspired me to study Mercier Therapy to help other women with infertility. Today, my sister has four amazing babies that I call my minions.
I, myself, have been on the receiving end of Mercier Therapy. I have two sweet children. They give me the strength and the energy to keep moving. My world changed when I became a mom, and that is for sure my favorite title.
I love being a Massage Therapist. This career has brought so many amazing people into my life. I have worked with your next-door neighbor, top athletes, Olympic bound athletes, Wall Street professionals, and everyone in between. Everyone is unique, which is why I tailor each massage session to each clients special needs.
