Restorative Yoga & Tapping (EFT)

We have a very special evening planned for you. Meet Melissa Etzler, certified EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Tapping Practitioner. EFT, or simply tapping, is a somatic healing tool that stimulates specific acupoints to help neutralize your nervous system and promote emotional balance. It’s an evidence based tool that can lower cortisol levels by 37%! It’s incredibly easy to learn and gentle enough to truly heal experiences, like PTSD, anxiety, physical pain, and more. Learn the basic 8 point EFT sequence used in clinical trials (plus two bonus points for even deeper relaxation). You will be tapping away stress to restore harmony in your emotional and physical body. Tapping will be intertwined with Restorative Yoga to maximize your healing journey and promote more peace. Our yoga poses will be done lying down or seated with a variety of propping techniques utilizing blankets, bolsters and blocks. Poses are held for several minutes so feel free to dress in layers in case the body becomes cool. Please bring your own mat. Yoga will be led by Diane.
