Leslie first began practicing yoga with videos (yes, VHS!) in 1998. What began as a way to loosen tight running muscles quickly transformed into a lifelong journey and dedication to the practice.
Leslie immediately noticed that the benefits of yoga went well beyond stretching out tired limbs. Yoga brought patience, equanimity, perseverance, and peace to her life in a way nothing else had. While working behind the desk at a fitness studio, Leslie met an instructor who introduced her to group exercise instruction. From there, Leslie began teaching a variety of fitness formats and soon went on to complete her 200+ hour Yoga certification.
Since then Leslie has continued to teach and practice yoga regularly. She loves being able to share with others the benefits that yoga has brought to her own life. Leslie is very excited to be a part of the Peace yoga team and have the opportunity to continue to share the joy of yoga.
