April 26, 2020: “Pain in the Neck” Focus on Neck, Shoulders and Arms
Join us the last Sunday of every month from February to April for “Self-Care Sunday Roll-Restore-Relax”. In these 90 minute workshops you will be guided through self-massage and mobilization sequences using the Roll Model Method® and the Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls followed by corrective exercises to help restore mobility while decreasing pain or discomfort. Self-massage eases tension, increases body awareness, improves range of motion, expands breathing capacity and decreases pain. Each workshop will end with a restorative savasana and guided relaxation.
What to bring: A yoga mat, water, a pen and paper if you want to take notes and any Yoga Tune Up balls you might own. There will be balls for your use as well as for sale following each workshop.
What to wear: Please dress in layers as the body will cool down during the relaxation portion of our workshop. Rolling is also best done on bare skin or polyester fabric. Fitness tank tops and leggings or shorts are recommended.
