The Yin Series
Join us for this special 2 week series on Yin (April 29th and May 6th). Are you intrigued to find out more about Yin Yoga? The term Yin comes from the Taoist tradition and refers to the parts of us that are more still or static. In Yin Yoga we strive for stillness in the body and focus our efforts on the connective tissue and fascia. Postures are held much longer, many times as long as 4 minutes. The practice is done lying down or seated, you may want to dress in layers because the body can become cool. The practice is deeply healing and nourishing.
